How much does parking cost?

Parking starts from just £0.60 per hour. Up to 8 hours is £0.60/hr, 8–12 hours is a flat £5.00, and over 12 hours is £5.00 plus £1.00 per extra hour. Maximum stay is 24 hours. Staff and residents passes are available at discounted rates.

How do I pay for parking?

Pay online at payments.kylerise.info — just enter your registration and select your duration. You can also pay at the contactless kiosk on-site. No cash needed. Your number plate is recognised automatically by our ANPR system.

Is the car park safe?

Absolutely. Kyle Rise has 24/7 CCTV across all areas, bright LED lighting, ANPR monitoring at every entry and exit point, and receives regular patrols from Police Scotland. We take security seriously.

Do you offer staff or residents parking passes?

Yes! We offer weekly staff passes (3, 5 or 7 days) and monthly passes (12 days, 20 days, or full calendar month) for employees of local businesses. Residents can purchase an unlimited monthly pass. Learn more about passes.

Where exactly is Kyle Rise Car Park?

We're on Carrick Street, Ayr, KA7 1RZ — right in the town centre. A short walk from Ayr Central Shopping Centre, Burns Statue Square, the High Street, and Ayr train station. See map.

What are the opening hours?

6:00am to midnight, 7 days a week, including bank holidays. The barriers close at midnight — please ensure your vehicle is collected before closing time.

Is there a height restriction?

The multi-storey section has a 2.3 metre height restriction. The surface car park has no height restriction, so vans and larger vehicles can use the ground level.

Can I park near Ayr train station?

Yes — Kyle Rise is approximately a 5-minute walk from Ayr train station, making it perfect for commuters and day trips. All-day parking (up to 12 hours) is just £5.00.

I'm a local business — how do I get staff parking?

Register your interest and we'll set you up with a dedicated QR code for your business. Your staff can then scan it to purchase their own discounted passes — no admin hassle for you.
